It started in May 2025 when I had the brilliant idea to ask the ladies at the Artisanat to make baby quilts with my overflowing stash.
I cut kits out of my gifted fabric and anyone member of the Artisanat group could take a kit home to assemble the top. Then it was brought back to me. Once I had about 30 tops done, other ladies from the group gathered with me to cut the batting and backing for the tops. Some backing needed assembling too, so I took those home to sew.

Once again, the interested members could take a bag home to finish the quilt.
Some of the members helped me with the kits and/or to cut bindings. Others just wanted to sew tops, or just do the quilting part. It was all fine by me. As long as my stash diminished and the quilts were done, I was a happy member. And so were they! Every assembly when I showed the finished quilts done that month, every single one of them was beaming with pride and joy.
Bravo to all the ladies who travelled with me on this fantastic adventure. None of this would have happened if it wasn't for you all. Thanks. 🧵🧵
Here is the result of our common effort.
