With the bags I bought and those gifted to me, I have plenty of green.
Nahhh, let's just sew it all up! Haha.
I dumped the bags' content in a big bin then rummaged through the basket. Seven pieces were pulled out for the April Fool blocks.
And a little blooper happened ... and got fixed.
Today, I'll go through the bin holding the contents of the bags and see if there are scraps big enough to finish the April Fool block for this month. Only need three more.

I wonder if I can still get it processed? Where? Who has this service now a days? (If you don't know what this is, don't ever say you are old. haha. )
Sometimes, gifted bags give you fabric you just have to play with right away. Two little 9-Patch of 3.5 inches to finish this post nicely.
When I looked at the fabric I pulled for the first green blocks, I saw a colour progression, so I made a Stained Glass block.
I finished the red Stained Glass, obviously not trimmed but done nonetheless.
I also finished the red April Fool blocks missing from last month. Here's a group photo.
Before I started to sew with green, I had a little bit of fun and a photo sessions with the blocks.
This container has a lid that locks. I want to reclaim it. It has, through the years, became a catch-all (read lazy-basket) in the kitchen. Maybe half of the things were just "misplaced" and were brought back to their "real" place. Other things were trashed: my son's first Swiss knife, mostly made of plastic and broken; Christmas Cracker's surprises; old business cards; a key for something we don't have anymore, etc.
Then, there was this!
I wonder if I can still get it processed? Where? Who has this service now a days? (If you don't know what this is, don't ever say you are old. haha. )

I hate sewing quilts on-point but I like how they look. LOL Your blocks get a nice secondary pattern going with them on-point. I love the stained glass.
I really like those April fools blocks - so many ways you can pay with them!
Film! My hubby says look around for local camera shops - they'd know where to get it processed.
I love your April Fool's blocks, Chantal! It looks like there are a lot of layout possibilities with them. I like the on point layout, too. My hubby worked for Kodak for his working career and he said he thinks you have to send a roll of film away somewhere to get it developed. Where exactly, we don't know!
The April Fools blocks look great on point. You’ve got a nice bag of fabrics to play with too.

Beautiful blocks. That will be an interesting quilt when you have it altogether whichever setting you choose.
I have a bunch of undeveloped film rolls in a drawer. So you know I'm old. Lots of options with those April Fool blocks. Is there a plan tfor the stained glass blocks. They are interesting.

haha, I wonder what pictures are on that camera film??? would be fun for you to see. It's amazing how that block looks so different depending how it is laid out...

I expect there's still a roll of film laying around here somewhere. Hubby has a Big box of old negatives too that nobody in the family will want, but here they sit. I have a big bin of green scraps, just need some motivation. In the meantime I'll just keep watching your progress...

Ah, voilà encore un bel usage de ces jolies chutes de vert ! Ces blocs poissons sont vraiment intéressants, j'aime beaucoup les multiples possibilités d'assemblage. Les derniers 9-patch sont adorables !

Love the April fool blocks but why are they called that?
Nice work on those GREEN blocks, Chantal, and a bit of decluttering, too! I actually have two green scrap baskets in my studio. One for lights & brights and another for the "yucky" greens or rather olive, etc. My favorite part of the post? Those two wee 9-Patch blocks at the end. LOVE them!! I should get back to my Tiny Nines someday soon...
