Monday First Day of Winter

With the school closed for the Holidays, the boys are all home. Food will have to be prepared more often lol. Nevertheless, I will try to assemble my RSC2015 quilt.

I like to assemble quilts in quarters whenever it is possible. I find it easier that way.

Will also add the border to each quarter before assembling them together. I just might have a flimsy before the end of the year. Please do not hold your breath as my plans are usually just dreams lol.

The little Double 9 Patch blocks are once again my leader-ender. These five were made during the summer and never got to show them off.

More to come.

Grab a cuppa of something warm, put your feet up and enjoy all the links to beautiful projects. You deserve the break.

Until next time ...

Your rainbow quilt is going to be wonderful. Good luck with the quilting; fingers crossed you get it finished this year! (I know I won't!)

I love love love those pinwheels! (I finally made a few for myself, too! Yours gave me a bad case of pinwheel envy!)
Nine patches are always such fun blocks to play with. I love your little doubles.

I like the idea of adding borders to the quarters before joining the quarters. I hate measuring long borders! Love your RSC blocks.

I wish you the Merriest of Christmases my friend !!
Big hugs !

Your pinwheel blocks turned out beautifully. Doing quarters is a great idea. Not so much bulk to handle each time. Nice to see you my first time on Monday Making. Keep up the good work!

Hello Chantal, what lovely projects. I was very interested that you are dealing with your quilt in quarters. Will you quilt it is quarters too? I am thinking of doing that with one of mine.

Have a very happy Christmas Chantal!
