My Pot of Gold!

For the month of March, Angela picked the colour Yellow in all its shades. I made seven blocks in yellow and gold.

It was sunny this morning so the colour is a little washed out but you can see how bright the blocks are. I have so many yellow I just might make more of the yellow blocks. Look! Polka-dots !!

(Yes, I am enjoying this hehehe!!)

I've got a squishy mail too!!!  Look!

Hot pads from Kathleen from Four Miles North of Nowhere. She sent me a sweet note too and made me laugh! She's a sweetheart ♥♥♥! She uses a piece of jeans for the backing.  Clever way to upcycle!! (Why didn't I think of that! lol.)  Aren't they the cutest ?

(They aren't crocked; they've been folded in an envelop for too long).Thank you again Kathleen. I think they are precious and I looooove them.

I hope your day is as bright as these blocks but NOT as hot as these hot pads LOL!!

I am joining Angela and many others in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Why don't you come and pay us a little visit?

Until next time....

;^)

Lovely yellow blocks Chantal. My day is pretty bright, not outside it's snowing here...but I'm working on a little quilt so it's bright inside.

Love the yellow polka dots That block creates such lovely secondary patterns when laid out.

What wonderful blocks. And those hot pads are great. I never thought of using jean material for the backing of hot pads before. What a clever idea!

Great sunny blocks you've made. We need a little sunshine now, at least in our quilts.
