Some Sewing Got Done

How about a Scrap Jar Star in green?

Yep! Did that.

I have figured out the layout for the Jericho Wall quilt so I started on the sashing. I seem to have forgotten how to sew the sashing though. The pressing was not right on this one but it stays. I'll try to do better with the third block. I also noticed (too late) that the sashing is of the same fabric as a piece in the first block. It stays anyway.

Also tried some more Drunkard's Path blocks. I got some good advice in my last post about this block and I'm putting them to use. Thanks again, everyone. Only 8 blocks made so far so I'm still learning how this works. Regardless, I'm happy with these.

Have a great week.

I love that star and have made it before - an easy way to use up scraps.

I love Scrap Jar!! That was one of the first patterns I made when I returned to quilting. I think I might need to make a Christmas Scrap Jar. LOL! Well, maybe just a runner.

Your green scrap jar star is so pretty! I love that block, too. Liking the sashing on your Jericho Wall blocks - that's going to make a great secondary design!

The sashing for your Jericho walls is perfect! I'm looking forward to seeing that one all together. And your Scrap Jar Star reminds me that I really want to make one of those myself!

Hi I am caught up on your posts now. I like that you persevered to stitch the nasty curve in the Drunkards Path block. I have the acrylic templates to stitch that block some time. I always make a mess in the sewing room, just can't seem to keep it tidy. Wow, you and the gals did a great job stitching all those bibs. You are stitching some great blocks here too as always. Happy Stitching from me.
