I just can't believe I have made 365 blocks for ONE quilt.
Ten thousand, eight hundred and twenty one pieces later ...
Here is Echo Beach.
From the beginning, I saw an island at low tide when the beach is peppered with
puddles. The sand is sometimes dry and white, sometimes it's wet or it's covered
in sea weeds then it's very dark. Haha! I know, I know, I have too much imagination.
I didn't follow the original layout as far as the corners go.
She put the basket towards the center and the flowers to the edge.
The next time you will see this quilt it will be quilted. (in about another three years time, lol.)

WOW!!! Since I didn't participate in the QAL/SAL, I had no idea where you were heading with this. (I also couldn't process the size of the 4" blocks.) Kudos, Girlfriend!

Chantal, I just love your colours! What an amazing quilt. It is a great way to use fabric, so interesting to see you changing the direction of the basket. Mine took almost four years to make,it is so worth it. Anybody who wants to make one, will be so glad that they take this challenge, it makes you grow as a quilter.
I love your quilt! I look at the sew along every year and think, maybe this year? But I never start. Maybe next year? I look forward to seeing how you quilt this quilt. I see it took Maggie 4 years to make, maybe I can do it? Happy stitching!
