On Friday afternoon (I had the afternoon off so ...), I headed outside with my sewing machine and my sunglasses.
My youngest son and I also got some apples at the orchard. Yum!
Today is another sunny day. So out the door I go! I have lots of HSTs to trim ... with my sunglasses on.
Enjoy!

Nothing better than getting outside in the sunshine, and apples fresh from the tree! You have achieved heaps.
Never thought to sew outdoors. That looks like fun!
Our temps will be in the 60s for a few days -- so nice.
Travailler à l'extérieur doit être vraiment très agréable !
Bonne continuation Chantal :)
Nice progress in RED, Chantal!! While soaking up the last of the summer sunshine? Allergies and sun glare headaches prevent me from joining you out on the deck. You certainly made the most of it!
I never bring my sewing machine outside but I have plenty of hand work to bring out instead.
What a delightful place to sew, and pretty red scraps to sew with, too! Apples from the orchard sound wonderful, as well. Are you baking today? :)
travailler dehors, super!
I love it, sewing with your sunglasses on! Girl, you have style! We have to enjoy this weather before it's gone.
Well, you just gave me an idea to grab my table, sandwich that quilt and sew outside!!
I've never sewn outside. What a wonderful idea.
so lovely to sit outside and sew.... the weather looks great

It must be a lot warmer there than it is here, lol! The cold north wind would blow my piecing away and it's chilly here, 50-60 deg. during the day and below freezing for the past few nights. So good that you're able to get out and stitch in the sunshine.
Sounds like a wonderful afternoon. Thanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
outdoor sewing is a joy! love that red crumb block
Like a picnic, only with sewing instead of eating!
Sewing outside? (smacking forehead) I can't believe I never thought of that!
