2016

I am not the kind to make New Year's resolutions. I make resolutions (and break them) year round. True, a new year is a good time to start anew. But so is a new day, a new week, a new month. So don't limit yourself. Any time is a good time to start something.

In blogland, some people are starting new projects for the new year and I saw a few that really interest me like;

OMG with Heidi from Red Letter Quilts. One Monthly Goal is so up my alley because I do want to finish some UFOs as you (probably) all know. With OMG, I'll be more than encourage to stick to my words. Love it. Thanks Heidi.

Westering Women with Barbara Brackman. Only one block to do on the last Wednesday of each month? Even I can do that! And with Barbara, you know it will be fun and informative. So that's a wagon I really want to get on. :^D  Thanks Barbara.

The Year of the Stash  with Jenn from A Quarter Inch from the Edge. We basically had the same idea as I too want to use my oldest fabric in 2016. So this one was also a no-brainer! Thanks Jenn.
Bins of fabrics
The shelves (these are old pictures of my work place as it is now overflowing with stuff and I didn't want to show THAT mess lol.)

and more bins under the quilting frame!!

How about you? Anyone else tempted to join in?

Of course I will still participate in :

Binding Blitz,
Le Challenge,
Monday Making,
Oh Scrap!,
Rainbow Scrap Challenge,
Scraptastic Tuesday,
Slow Sunday Stitching,
WIP's Be Gone.

I won't be in all of these linky parties every week but I'll do it as often as I can.

I want to say

♥♥ Thank you ♥♥
to all the people who, directly or indirectly,
organize all those linky parties.
I know they spend a lot of time in front of their computers
and away from their sewing machines
and I appreciate it.

So let the fun begins with old fabric, bins full of scraps and new projects. Whoohoo!

2016, here I come!

There are so many wonderful things to join in with, aren't there?
I'm looking forward to Westering Women, too. I watched Stars in a Time Warp from the sidelines, since I don't have much in the way of reproduction fabrics, but this quilt along looks like fun. Especially since it's only one block a month!

That's a big list of fun things to join up with! I plan on participating in 2 or 3 of the ones you have listed but you never no because I am easily tempted. ;)

Ha! I'm in the process of using up my old fabric as well. Seems that 2016 is the year to clean out!
