My! My! May already! OMG!

I am so behind in my 365 Challenge quilt that I decided to make it my One Monthly Goal for May.

On the second of April, I showed you these imperfect  beautiful blue blocks. Now on the 4th of May, these are still my latest blocks made. I had a busy schedule, then my computer had a "meltdown" then I had health issues, and just life in general.

Anywho! I will finish ALL of the March blocks before the end of May. If I get further, good for me but if I don't, that is okay too. I don't want to push myself too much as my health issues are not yet resolved. But I promise to give it a try.

Which block I am working on right now? you ask. I'm losing patience with working on March 14' block with its inset seams mitre corners. YIPES! I have done it over twice so far and it is still not laying flat and not close to 3.5 inches. :^P    Wish me luck as I think I need all the help I can get.

Linking up with The Red Letters Quilts for OMG challenge.

Until next time ...

Oh, I got sooooo tired of those mitered corners! I finally ended up redrafting the blocks and doing y-seams instead, just for a change.
Good luck catching up! I caught up with March, so you can do it! (Now I just have to catch up with April...)
I hope you're feeling better.

Good luck with finishing those blocks and I hope that you will soon be back to good health. xx

I'm always amazed that a tiny block takes as much time, if not more time, than a bigger block!

We understand how life gets in the way. Lovely blocks. Blessings,

365 Challenge? Those dark blocks all came out a bit wonky. The reason, we were not told to square anything of, before sewing the pieced blocks together. The larger blocks have this information. You will find they are far better and go quicker. Mine is on my blog: Cheerfulchickadee.blogspot. I could only start 365 at the end of February, so I did all the cutting of the blocks and then the sewing, until I caught up. Hang in there, it gets better!

Oh, I hope you are getting back on track! I had to do the same thing to catch up with Quilt365 last month, and it worked!
Now I wish my May goal was just to maintain them haha!
